The main reason to join the BCK board would be to make a difference. If you are looking for a way to give back, what better way than to do it with children's education!

You have the desire to support and encourage the interconnection between our elementary schools and Kingston’s cache of vibrant museums.

Encourage Inquiry-based Learning

You value inquiry-based learning for students and would like to help guide programming that nurtures this type of education.

Interested in Giving back to the community

You are interested in “giving back” to a community non-profit, dedicated to fostering relationships between children and our local history.

You would like to serve as an “Ambassador” to help promote the work done at BCK either through word-of-mouth or through corporate partnerships.

You can spare a few hours each month, depending on ongoing projects, to strengthen the BCK team through governance and oversight, encouragement, fresh ideas, volunteer on-site support, etc.
